Need a Forerunner? There’s an old nautical practice known as warping—when a smaller boat carries an anchor ahead of a larger vessel, giving it a secure point toward which it can be drawn. Jesus has gone ahead of us as our Forerunner, and our hope is anchored securely where He is—drawing us toward the harbor He has already entered.
