The Veil Tore. The Graves Opened.
At the moment Jesus died, Matthew records that the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom, the earth shook, the rocks split, and the graves were opened.
This design leans into the imagery people associate with the season, but points to something far greater than fear: the death of Christ broke through the barrier of sin and even the grave itself could not remain undisturbed.
Inspired by Matthew 27:50–53, it is a reminder that the cross was not the end of the story. The veil tore. The graves opened. And everything changed.
