BEST GIFT EVER — A CHRISTMAS DREAM
Christmas Eve has a special kind of excitement. A little boy drifts off to sleep with the wonder of Christmas still on his mind. But in this design, he's not dreaming about toys or presents waiting under a tree.
He's dreaming about the first Christmas—about Mary and Joseph, a humble manger, and the birth of Jesus.
That's the heart of Best Gift Ever. It's a picture of childhood wonder directed toward the greatest gift God has given.
Philippians 4:8 encourages us to think about what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and worthy of praise. Colossians 3:2 reminds us to set our minds on things above. Those verses invite us to consider what we teach our children to treasure, especially during a season full of distractions.
The presents and traditions can be joyful. But the reason for Christmas is better than anything that could fit in a box: Jesus Christ came into the world.
