C4 | It’s a Kill the Fatted Calf Kind of Day
Some days call for a celebration. This lighthearted Christian shirt uses the language of a cookout to point toward a deeper joy: a lost son welcomed home and fellowship restored.
Inspired by Jesus’ parable of the prodigal son, this design captures the father’s response when his lost son finally came home—not rejection, not a lecture, but restoration and rejoicing.
The weathered 57 branding iron gives the design a rustic, backyard-BBQ feel, while the unusual phrase creates the perfect opening for someone to ask, “What does that mean?”
And that’s where the conversation begins.
Because in Luke 15, the fatted calf wasn’t really about dinner. It was about celebrating someone who was lost and had been found—someone who was dead and was alive again.
